- The Secret Behind 40 Amazing Years!Congratulations to Donald and LoyAnn Anderson who just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary!!!
This is a couple that truly exudes love, peace and happiness. In their forty years together, Don and LoyAnn have been blessed with three beautiful daughters (Kim, Paula and Teri) and four wonderful grandchildren (Nathan, Jake, Morgan and Jayna).
Don and LoyAnn are very involved in the Delano community and can often be seen volunteering their time helping out around town. One thing I often notice, when I see them out and about, is that they are usually together. They genuinely look very happy together and it makes me think to myself, “I hope my husband and I have a connection like that forty years from now!” What a wonderful couple to look up to.
So…what is the secret to their marital success?
Donald and LoyAnn will tell you that it’s no secret. It takes a lot of time, patience and understanding. Donald says, '“The number one thing to remember is to LISTEN!”'
LoyAnn added, '“When you are married, you have to remember IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT YOU ANYMORE. There is another person’s side to consider.”'
Although Don and LoyAnn make it look easy, they will both tell you that it takes a lot of WORK and COMPROMISE.
Zig Ziglar and Jim Rohn sum it up wonderfully:
“'Many marriages would be better if the husband and wife clearly understood that they’re on the same side”'. – Zig Ziglar
“'Your family and your love must be cultivated like a garden. Time, effort, and imagination must be summoned constantly to keep it flourishing and growing.'”
- Jim Rohn
I believe you can learn a lot from people who have reached the kind of success you are hoping to achieve. For me, Donald and LoyAnn’s success story represents just that. They give me hope to defy the statistics and strive for a fulfilling, loving marriage that lasts forever!

- Ann's StoryHi, my name is Ann Bodin, age 38. In Fall 2004, I decided my weight was out of control and joined Full Circle Fitness looking for help. I was short of breath going up stairs and lacking the energy to play with my two daughters age 12 and 6.
I didn’t think I was that out of shape, but those first workouts were hard! I tried very hard to workout three days a week and gradually advanced to where I was no longer working up a sweat. After nine months I was in better shape, but I was not losing weight like I had hoped and wanted to tone up some problem areas.
I then asked Full Circle’s new Owner and Trainer, Randal to help me develop a more rigorous workout so we had a long talk about my goals, my diet, and how much weight I hoped to lose. He suggested interval training. I was willing to try anything. This meant that instead of walking on the treadmill, I would try running for short periods. I always said that the only way I would run was if someone was chasing me, but I gave it a try. Randal continued to encourage me and now I am able to run for five minutes straight!
Randal also suggested that I diversify my cardio workout which I did. He then designed for me three strength and conditioning workouts - a different focus each day. The workouts were creative, unique and a big part of my success.
I feel better than I have in years and I really notice how my stamina has increased. I can even chase my youngest daughter - - her on bike… me on foot! Five and a half months later, I have lost 35 pounds, which is more than my original goal, and I have had friends and family say they don’t even recognize me.
I really enjoy my time at The Club. The personal training support was key to my success. The Kids Korner allows me to bring my daughters if I need to, and everyone is very friendly.
Thankfully,
Ann Bodin
